Ways To Make Exercise Fun
This week will be dedicated to a series of the posts designed to provide information on ways to make exercise more of a fun task as opposed to a tedious task. Each day, I will be posting "Quick Tips" for making the most fun out of your exercise routine.
Quick Tips For Today
I sure that many of you that are shaking your head and saying that exercise and having fun at the same time, simply isn't possible. I completely understand this because most of the time, I feel the same way. But take it from someone who doesn't like exercising... it's all in how you approach it. It is possible to find fun when you least expect it!
- Find an activity you enjoy doing. If you have always enjoyed dancing, why not make dancing a part of our fitness program?
- Exercise with a buddy. Having a partner to exercise with is often a great motivator. Your buddy may be able to get you moving on those days when old habits threaten to creep back into view. Make a wager with your buddy, the first one to skip a workout buys lunch.
- Maybe there is a sport that you have always loved to play? Do you like to play football? Or basketball? Perhaps the All-American pastime of baseball is your favorite sport. Whether you choose one favorite sport or all of them, gather up some of your neighbors and friends for some old-fashioned neighborhood ballgames next weekend and get the whole neighborhood involved in your quest for improved fitness!
